Located in the suburbs of Seattle, Blading by Britt is Snohomish, Washington’s first and only dedicated Permanent Makeup studio offering microblading, shading, lip blush, eyeliner, freckles, and tattoo removal. Before beginning your service, we must first determine if you are a suitable candidate for permanent makeup. Permanent makeup may not be suitable for people with the conditions and medications listed below:

Skin and health concerns

  • Actively taking blood thinners

  • Allergies to topical anesthetics

  • Autoimmune diseases

  • Blood disorders (such as Hemophilia)

  • Chronic acne on the brows

  • Cold sore outbreaks

  • Eczema on the brows

  • Glaucoma or other eye conditions

  • Hepatitis

  • History of excessive scarring (such as hypertrophic or keloid)

  • HIV

  • Keratosis Pilaris

  • Pregnant or nursing

  • Prior permanent makeup

  • Rosacea (in the treatment area)

  • Under Doctor’s treatment for chronic condition

Medications or treatments that must be discontinued prior to service:

  • Accutane/Roaccutane (1 year prior)

  • Antibiotics (10 days prior)

  • Aspirin or Ibuprofen (24 hours prior)

  • Botox (3 weeks prior)

  • Fish Oil (1 week prior)

  • Lash extensions (prior to eyeliner)

  • Latisse, or other eyelash growth serums (6-8 weeks prior to eyeliner)

  • Lip fillers (6 weeks prior to lip blush)

  • Retin-A (1 year prior)

  • Retinol (1 month prior)

  • Vitamin A (1 week prior)

  • Vitamin E (1 week prior)

Before your appointment please:

  • Don't pick, tweeze, wax, or perform electrolysis within 1 week of service

  • Do not tan within 2 weeks of service

  • Avoid facials within 2 weeks of service

  • Don't work out the day of service

  • Avoid alcohol for 24-48 hours prior to service

  • Avoid coffee, tea, energy drinks, and other caffeinated beverages the day of service
