Please read all of the information below prior to enrolling
Valley Roots Studio’s 5-day Hybrid Brow Training will give you all the tools and knowledge to start your career in the Permanent Makeup Industry. This course teaches both Microblading and Machine Shading, with the end goal of mastering Britt's most popular brow style - Hybrid Brows.
Our course is unique because, not only is it longer than the industry-standard, but our students are required to do an additional 1 month of at-home practice work on fake skin, before returning to complete their live model. We believe this extra practice time will help ensure our students are giving their models the best brows possible! Students will be asked to participate in weekly check-ins and submit periodic homework assignments.
You do NOT need to have any previous experience to take this course - it was created for Aspiring Artists, and is jam-packed with a variety of educational techniques for all learning styles; including audio and visual presentations, a 50+ page take-home manual, live demos, 50+ hours of hands-on practice, a packed starter kit, and lifetime support via a private Facebook group.
A Certificate of Completion will be provided at the end of class (after successful completion of a live model). Students are invited to shadow Britt as needed.
Total cost for course is $4,200
Valley Roots Studio's Hybrid Brow course is broken into two parts.
Days 1-4 are conducted consecutively in the classroom; with the first half of the day dedicated to instruction on theory, and the second half of the day is spent practicing on fake skin.
Day 5 is held approximately 30 days later, when students return to complete their live model.
The topics we will cover in class include (but are not limited to):
Health, safety, and sanitation
Skin anatomy and color theory
Microblading application and stroke patterns
Brow mapping
Shading techniques and needle terminology
Licensing requirements, systems, and business set up
A $1,000 deposit is required at time of enrollment. The remaining balance of $3,200 must be paid 14 days prior to course start date.
Prior to the first day of class, you must obtain a valid Blood Borne Pathogen Certification.
You are also responsible for providing your own model. This is typically a friend or family member, who you are comfortable working on. We strongly suggest that your model be between the ages of 18 to 45, and NOT have any previous Permanent Brow Makeup. Please have your models review the Precare Instructions prior to their appointment. Kindly let us know if you are having trouble securing a model, and we will do our best to help!
